The Honda Center is one of country’s the most notable entertainment and sports venue. It is home to the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks and the John R. Wooden Classic. Trivia: Until 2006, when Honda bought the center’s naming rights, The Honda Center was known as the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim.

Trivia: Most boysenberries can trace their origins to Knott’s Berry Farm where Walter Knott took nearby Anaheim Parks Superintendent Rudolph Boysen’s new strain of berry (which kept dying on the vine) and nurtured them to health, naming the new berry after their originator.

The Star of India actually holds the Guinness Book of World Record for “The oldest sea-going sailing vessel.” It is 1,197 tons and built at Ramsey, Isle of Man in the United Kingdom in 1863.

Fullerton Arboretum

The Fullerton Arboretum is the largest botanical garden in Orange County. It serves as a learning place for agricultural history saves and specialized in plant species that are near extinction. The Arboretum trails, located inside the arboretum’s grounds, host over 4,000 plants and navigate through four different major collections: Cultivated, Woodlands, Mediterranean and Desert.

Trivia: The Fullerton Arboretum is home to a carrion flower, the world’s largest flower head. This unique species of flower only blooms every seven years and is known for its strong smelly odor, usually described as smelling of “rotting meat.”

Known as the Santa Ana River region’s longest recreational trail and parkway, this 110-mile trail and bikeway corridor reaches from Big Bear Lake in the San Bernadino Mountains to the mouth of the Santa Ana River at the Pacific Ocean. Trivia: Voted 2012’s “Best Bike Trail” by the Orange County Register. Another fun fact: The Santa Ana River has some of the densest populations of the Least Bell’s Vireo, an endangered songbird.
